back to normal

so after a couple weeks home things are back to normal. i guess? is there really a normal when you have two toddlers running around? my mind is a blur of everything we've done, but here are a couple highlights.

xander is really starting to become a little person with a great imagination. he likes to pretend to do all sorts of things. my personal favorite is when he walks over to me with his stuffed dog and says "momma, smell this. do you smell something? ewww. doggy has stinky poops." then he proceeds to shove the dog's tail end into my nose.

ashton is growing up too. i'm not positive, but i think he said "da" today for 'dog'. (which by the way was xander's first word as well.) he does the a great doggy imitation and an elephant. today he also started pretending to sneeze too. funny guy. :)

we went to the doctor this past week. here are the stats for those of you keeping track: xander was 37" tall and 28 lbs. ashton was 31 1/2" tall and 22 1/2 lbs. my big boys. i'm so proud!
