potty talk

i don't know what it is about babies and toddlers that forces you to talk about bodily functions all day long. xander is starting to learn to use a big-boy potty seat, so we need to talk to him about it all the time. it must be a little too much because the other day i was upset about something and was in the kitchen with tears in my eyes. xander came up to me and said, "momma, are you pooping?" laughter followed.
