scratch that off the list...

well, the time has come to scratch another possible vocation off my list: gardener. here is the largest carrot i pulled out of my garden this year. a close-up. :) it's about the size of the first digit of my thumb. impressive.

my zuccinni and squash did well. my cherry tomatoes, also well. my onions... hmmm... you know those little pearl onions that your grandma used to serve that you always wondered how they got that small... my new theory is that they give them to bad gardeners.

oh, and my apple tree, oh, my apple tree. year after year a success. do you think it has anything to do with the fact that is doesn't have anything to do with me? i think so.

let's see, what else is on that list....
